RESOURCE USE PERMIT
Evansville, Inc. has initiated a permit system for resource use. This system will enable us to improve management of our natural resources. A permit is now required to gather wood and trap furbearing animals on Evansville, Inc. lands.
Permits for wood cutting will only be issued for dead timber to be used solely for firewood. No live trees may be taken. Please remember it is forbidden to ring trees on Evansville, Inc. land.
Permits for trapping furbearing animals on a trapline that is already in existence will be handled differently than a permit to build a new trapline.
Permit applications are available at the Evansville Tribal Council may be obtained by writing the Evansville, Inc. office in Fairbanks, Alaska at the address above or downloaded online. Please submit application to Evansville, Inc. at the above address.
Persons gathering wood or trapping furbearing animals without a permit will be considered to be in trespass and appropriate action will be taken. If you have any questions write the Evansville, Inc. office at the address above. We appreciate your cooperation.
